Together we set up a strategy with an emphasis on preparation and planning. We take into account (but are not limited to) family life, work schedules, leisure activities, preferences, and nutritional tendencies
My mission is to educate and empower individuals to form good habits in nutrition & fitness, for a well balanced life. Example subjects include scheduling and time management, meal preparation and planning, and setting achievable healthy goals.
Once we begin our relationship we keep an open line of communication. I will consistently check-in with you (via email, text, phone or video chat) to see how you’re progress is coming as well as answer any questions you may have.
Habitrition is about forming good nutrition and fitness habits. Its about putting knowledge and education into action. That action becomes good choices. The continuation of those choices become a pattern. Those patterns become habits. Many people have an awareness of the benefit of nutrition and consistent exercise. My job is to discover and cultivate how it works for you.
Areas we cover include (but are not limited to) development/heightening of food awareness, scheduling and time management, meal preparation and planning, and setting achievable healthy goals. Through one on one consultations and group sessions I work to show my clients how to apply these good habits and change their lives.
Each person and situation is different. Together we disocver how to implement the habitiriton strategy to fit your needs

Allow to marinate for at least an hour. (For best results, allow it to marinate overnight in the refrigerator.) Add fresh mint (optional) The cucumber slices will float,[…]
But really maybe we are? One of my dads does something at our church that he calls #confessiontime. It’s a time, as pastor, where he is transparent about a struggle that he may have or has had in the past. Today I’m taking that and using it on the blog. CONFESSION: IM NOT PERFECT!!! […]
It’s the middle of cookout season and last night my wife decided we were gonna grill all the meat we had in our freezer. #exciting My wife asked her mother who is visiting and, who already makes a mean deviled egg, if she would whip some up. Upon hearing this, my cousin suggested and introduced[…]
For the body to function properly and to the best of its ability it needs to consume nutrients. There are six categories of nutrients: Carbohydrates, Fats, Protein, Vitamins, Minerals, and Water. Why did I choose this? That’s the question I asked myself when I was at a cookout that had a plethora of meat options and only one meatless option. The smell of the barbecue. The messiness of the sloppy joe. They all called to the meat-loving creature deep inside. But then I thought. “You learn[…]
A long time ago I came to the realization that I should always be learning. There is so much knowledge to be learned on any given subject I cannot “know it all.” That could be intimidating to some, but it doesn’t stop the hunger to learn as much as I can and share it with[…]

Pairing physical activity with a balanced nutrient dense diet is the best way to take care of your body inside and out.
