WEEK 3 IN THE BOOKS!!
6:30 AM – Wake up
7:15 AM – Granola and skim milk
11:30 AM – Oatmeal with blueberries raspberries blackberries and raisins
2 PM – 16 oz of water
6 PM – Parmesan crusted chicken with broccoli and 3 grain rice. And mashed sweet potatoes and butternut squash
7:15 PM – 1/4 cup of granola
Can you believe we are three weeks in! This challenge is flying by. And I feel better for it. To day was a day of standing firm. There is an amazing baker in our church congregation and she sent home some goodies to the house this weekend. It took less effort than I thought not to devour all of my favorites (brownies and a strawberry cake), but it still took effort. I guess I have to admit I’m not a machine. And it helps to have a wife that says “no Paul” when I am eyeing a bite of the strawberry cake. Also I made another new dish. I used pretzels what were habitrition approved for the curst of the parmesan crusted chicken. It was a hit with the family.
